It should have been a happy father-son moment at a ball game. Instead, it turned into a freak tragedy.

Straight out of a Norman Rockwell painting, Shannon Stone, a 39-year old firefighter from Texas, took his son to a ballgame Thursday night at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. They stood there in the front of the bleachers, Shannon in his blue Texas Rangers cap, his son in a red T-shirt, red cap, wearing his baseball glove.
