Sadly the killing of officers seems to be increasing each year. My condolences to the family and bless Officer Rogers.

Of course it's increasing. And it's only going to get worse. The repeated killing of all these cops is nothing more than a reflection of societies hate and distrust towards our entire Government and state of society.

These are but the first shots in a war that has just begun.

The repeated killing of all these cops is nothing more than a reflection of societies hate and distrust towards our entire Government and state of society.

The advent of cell phone, surveillance and dashboard cameras coupled with the Internet has brought to attention the frequency and severity of police brutality that has been going on.

IMO, this exposure has caused paranoia and animosity toward the police, resulting in a backlash from the public. Which in turn is causing the cops to react with paranoia and animosity toward the public.

And it's only going to get worse.

    Exactly.

The solution lies with the police policing themselves and throwing rogue cops off the force. They can start with suspensions WITHOUT pay for those being investigated where there is evidence of excessive force having been used.
