Update: The Missouri Highway Patrol has identified the Washington County Deputy as 31 year old Christopher Parsons. He has been with the Washington Co Sheriff’s department for 2 months.
A Washington County Missouri Sheriff’s Deputy was shot and killed early this morning. At 2:10 am, Police and Paramedics were called to Nugget Road in Mineral Springs. The Missouri Highway Patrol tells us that the patent was being loaded into the ambulance, when the gunman opened fire and shot and killed the Deputy. The suspect then ran off into the woods.
The suspect has been identified as 30 year old Gary W. Sancegrow, 6 foot 2 inches tall, with red hair and brown eyes. Police tell us he was wearing camouflage and is considered armed and dangerous.
Police have set up road blocks and are searching the area for the suspect. If you know where the suspect, Gary Sancefrow is located call 911.
